Development Process
Needs analysis
During this stage, we gather and understand:
- the business objectives of the project and the challenges faced by it;
- interface, reporting, data transfer, data exchange and interfacing with other systems
- project dependencies on other internal resources / projects.
Agreement of approach, costs and schedule
As well as providing a high level functional overview of our proposition, you will also receive a detailed schedule of costs and timescales. This will include:
- milestone dates
- input requirements from you
- detailed costings
Creation of the product to specification
Modular development will allow concurrent approval and testing process during this phase. We have a staged release system allowing you to see developments at the earliest opportunity. We will provide milestone review points on the initial project plan at which point you are invited into our secure client area.
Security, functional and load testing as appropriate
We can assist / perform:
- All levels of performance testing
- User Acceptance Testing - scripting and execution
- Security testing of the application
This ensures that applications are fully functional, secure and meet performance targets.
Skills transfer and 'Business as usual' documentation alongside client
Support for the product to complement existing mechanisms
We can offer levels of support to complement existing facilities within your organisation. We will also engage in a maintenance agreement with our clients to update any software on a regular basis.
